Job summary
We looking to recruit a full-time clinical practice pharmacist with a prescribing qualification, who is innovative and enthusiastic and has experience of working within a primary care team. We currently have a WTE Pharmacy Technician and work closely with a PCN Pharmacists for 1 day at the practice and the Local Medicines Management team 1 day.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with and be an integral part of the pharmacy team, that will support the GPs and wider primary care team to deliver safe effective care. You will deliver medication related patient services, including direct patient care. You will be a leader and will support and guide members of the practice team to maximise safe and effective prescribing and maintain and improve the quality of patient care within the practice. You will be keen and enthusiastic and have a sense of humour, which will ensure that you fit in extremely well with the practice team!

Medical Centre is a five GP partner practice caring for 10600 patients in St
Helens town Centre in Merseyside. We have an excellent clinical team consisting of 4 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP's, 3 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care Assistants.
Our clinical team is supported by an administration team consisting of Practice Manager, Administration Manager and Reception Manager with a team of Patient Care Advisors all helping to provide a service to our practice population.
