the Data Administration Lead, you will oversee the daily work of our
administration team, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate data
management. You will provide leadership, support, and training, ensuring that
staff are confident in their roles and that processes comply with NHS
standards, GDPR, and best practice guidelines.
Main duties of the job
Lead and support the Medical Administration /
Care Navigator team
Ensure accurate and timely data entry across
EMIS Web and other clinical systems
Monitor and improve administrative workflows and
efficiency
Manage correspondence, referrals, and patient
communications
Take minutes at meetings and produce accurate
records
Provide coaching, training, and guidance to
staff
Ensure compliance with confidentiality, data
protection (GDPR), and NHS protocols
Act as a point of escalation for complex
administrative or patient-related issues
Liaise with other GP practices, hospitals, and
suppliers

- Evidence of ongoing professional development or relevant training

- Proven experience in a leadership or team lead role within a healthcare or administrative environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
