Job summary
We are looking for a Part Time Medical Receptionist to work in a very busy GP surgery in Didsbury. We are a very friendly surgery and have a large reception team but looking to add to the team as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone to join
our team and bring with them skills that will enhance the care we provide to
our patients. Our patients are our forefront and we want them to have a
positive experience when they access health care provided by the surgery.
Knowledge of EMIS desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include......
Greeting patients and visitors in an efficient and courteous manner
Provide an effective and polite telephone enquiry service
Proactively communicate information between relevant patients, doctors and professionals
Answering incoming telephone calls, ensuring calls are documented and redirected accordingly.
Register new patients.
Using the Online tool - Patchs, working on a rota to help our care coordinators manage the online requests.
Hours of work are 18-20 hours over 3 days
We offer 6 weeks annual leave.

patient notes).
