We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and forward-thinking salaried GP for 4 to 6 sessions a week

Main duties of the job

Newly qualified or experienced GPs welcome to join our team.

For newly qualified GPs - we will support you to settle in and gradually ease into the Practice ways of working.

Caritas Group practice is a practice over 3 sites with approx 8000 patients.We are a supportive team with a passion from providing first class health case, striving to provide the best service we can to our practice population. It can be demanding at times but equally very rewarding.

Job responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of physical and mental health conditions

Carry out patient consultations in person or telephone

Prescribe medications and treatments

Manage Chronic illnesses

Referrals to hospitals/ Specialists

Keep accurate and confidential medical records

Provide Health Education and Lifestyle advice to patients

Strong communication and listening skills, empathy, patience and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure. Teamwork and leadership skills

  • Experience with SystmOne
  • Involvement in QOF and enhanced services or research projects.
