Job summary
St Johns Surgery is a busy, friendly practice with two sites located in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. We are looking to recruit one part time dispenser to work in our dispensing practice at our branch surgery in Wychbold, near Droitwich .
The hours of working will be 8am to 1pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. The successful candidate will also be available to work additional mornings where required to cover periods of holiday or sickness.
Start date: 2nd January 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Main duties of the job
It is essential the successful candidate has relevant and recent experience of working in a pharmacy or dispensary and has excellent communication skills to work as part of our friendly, proactive dispensing team. Candidates need to have exceptional customer service skills to interact with patients and the wider health care team.
An NVQ 2 in Dispensing / Pharmacy Services is essential. Experience in General Practice and knowledge of EMIS is preferable.
The successful candidate will be required to assist with dispensing medication, processing repeat prescriptions, ordering stock, dealing with patient enquiries and supporting the practice dispensary and reception team.
Flexibility to cover colleagues' holiday and sickness is essential.
