Iridium Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and organised QOF & General Practice Administrator to join our friendly and supportive primary care team.
Main duties of the job
This role combines Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) administration with general practice administrative duties.
The successful candidate will work within the Practice Admin team with close support from Management and Planned Care Leads to ensure contractual compliance.

Job responsibilities
- Manage and oversee patient recall systems for chronic disease management, QOF, and non-QOF recalls (e.g. DOAC monitoring), ensuring all patients eligible are identified, recalled, and followed when required.
- Monitor QOF indicators proactively and take appropriate action to support achievement of targets.
- Generate, analyse, and interpret QOF and performance reports to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Input, review, validate, and code QOF-related clinical data in line with national and contractual requirements.
- Add and maintain recalls triggered by secondary care instructions.
- Use Telephone, Email and SMS communication methods to invite patients for reviews and track responses.
- Monitor uptake and attendance, escalating concerns where required.
- Remain up to date with changes to QOF, contractual requirements, and NHS guidance, ensuring the practice remains compliant.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Admin Leads to develop and implement strategies to maximise QOF achievement.
- Provide administrative and data support to clinicians and the wider practice team.
- Support staff understanding of QOF processes and clinical systems where appropriate.
