BURNEY STREET PRACTICE
RECEPTIONIST & ADMINISTRATOR
We are a friendly, two-site NHS GP surgery in Greenwich caring for around 16,000 patients. We are looking for two Receptionists & Administrators who are warm, reliable, and genuinely motivated to support patients and their colleagues. Experience in general practice or a healthcare setting is an advantage but if you bring the good character and a willingness to learn, we would very much like to hear from you.
The following days and hours of work that we
require are:
Your hours will be 20 per week, worked between Monday and Friday within an operating window of 6:45am to 6:30pm. You will be expected to work across both sites on a rota basis, so flexibility to move between locations is an essential requirement of the role.

Main Duties &
Responsibilities - Reception
Ensure an effective and
efficient reception service is provided to patients visitors to the
practice.
Deal with all general
enquiries, and explain practice and reception processes and procedures.

colleagues, stakeholders and any other visitors to the practice.
To monitor and manage
practice mailboxes, filing, registration, tasks.
To scan all patient and
practice documentation.
To perform any other
relevant duties that may be dictated by the needs of the practice.

Burney Street Practice is one GP Practice that
operates from two sites in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Lewisham less than a
10 minute walk from each other.
The practice is managed by 4 GP Partners, supported by a Operations Manager and a HR & Governance Manager.
Additional team members are salaried GPs, a nursing team, and administrative and reception team members as well as Primary Care Network and community staff.
Our reception and admin team is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud of the supportive, close-knit culture we have built.
