Job summary
We care for around 26,000 patients across St Leonards-on-Sea and Hastings. Youll work a structured clinical day with protected breaks, catch-up slots and dedicated admin time, supported by regular clinical supervision and a friendly MDT.

Cap: 15 contacts per session
Dedicated Mental Health sessions: up to 2 sessions a week (negotiable) to run MH reviews, complex case discussions and shared-care follow-up
No on-call; home visits: Low
Protected CPD plus 5 days study leave pro rota
30 days AL plus 8 BH (FTE)

What you'll do Patient-facing
Provide comprehensive, patient-centred GP care across acute, chronic and preventive needs
Consult in person or by telephone
Support patients with mental health needs, working with our multidisciplinary mental health team to ensure appropriate care & follow-up
Participate in clinical decision-making, triage, and referrals
Engage in quality improvement & clinical governance activities as part of our team ethos
Care/Nursing home ward rounds with support from Enhanced Care Team
Lead in primary-care mental health: assessment, safety planning, brief interventions, step-up/step-down & shared-care follow-up with clear escalation pathways
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences & joint reviews with MH colleagues

Clinical admin & governance: results handling, correspondence, documentation, audit, QI, and practice meetings.
