Hastings & Rother Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our team across three established surgeries serving a diverse and growing patient population of 26,000 in the vibrant and historic coastal towns of St Leonards-On-Sea and Hastings.
Whether youre a newly qualified or experienced GP, we offer a supportive and dynamic environment. While not essential, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a special interest in mental health, as there are opportunities to work closely with our integrated mental health team alongside your core GP responsibilities..
Main duties of the job

Regular clinical supervision provided to all clinical staff, including GPs

Main Duties
Provide comprehensive, patient-centred care across the spectrum of general practice: acute, chronic, and preventive
Conduct consultations in person, via telephone, or video
Support patients with mental health needs, working with our multidisciplinary mental health team to ensure appropriate care and follow-up
Participate in clinical decision-making, triage, and referrals
Engage in quality improvement and clinical governance activities as part of our team ethos

You will be responsible for face to face and telephone consultations with
patients presenting with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day
requests for treatment and chronic disease management. You will provide care

diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You may also be required to
complete home visits.
You will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care,
including assessment and diagnostic skills. You will need to prioritise and
triage the needs of the patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for
investigations in the appropriate manner.
