Job summary

The post holder is responsible for providing effective administrative support to the HR Advisor/HR Business Partner/Associate Director of HR, acting as the first point of contact for employees, clinicians and other external organisations for enquiries relating to employment issues and having responsibility for specific areas of work.

The role is full time working 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm at the Urgent Treatment Centre, 15 Katie Road, Birmingham, B31 3HB.

Salary starts at £25,000 dependant on experience.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities

  1. Carry out administrative processes as instructed
  2. Assist with recruitment and pre-employment checks for new employees
  3. Maintain the relevant systems used for staffing, absence and training
  4. Assist with maintaining staffing records in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
  5. Act as the first point of contact on behalf of the HR Advisor/HR Business Partner when required
  6. Notetaking as necessary
  7. Handle telephone and general enquiries
  8. Processing all forms of communication relating to areas of work
  9. All forms of data entry and record keeping relating to areas of work
  10. Follow and adhere to Health and Safety procedures
  11. Ensuring work areas are tidy
  12. Any other delegated duties considered appropriate for the post
