Job summary
This position forms part of the Document
Management Team and is primarily based at the Collingwood site. However, the
post holder may be required to work at other organisational sites as necessary
to meet service needs.
The post holder will be responsible for accurately coding and
recording relevant clinical and administrative information into patients
electronic healthcare records using the SystmOne (S1) clinical system, in
accordance with the organisations Correspondence Management Policy and data
quality standards.
In addition to core coding responsibilities, the post holder will
provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to
the smooth and efficient running of services. The role also involves supporting
the management team in promoting the organisations key values and priorities,
including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I), Safety, Health,
Environment and Fire (SHEF), Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI),
Confidentiality, Collaborative Working, Service Delivery, and Learning and
Development.
The post holder may be required to undertake other reasonable
duties commensurate with the role as directed by the management team.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for accurately processing, coding, and maintaining patient clinical information within the S1 system and healthcare records. Duties include handling and actioning correspondence, scanning and attaching documents, inputting and extracting data for reports, and supporting clinical staff with general administrative tasks. The role also involves performing system searches, and ensuring the workspace remains organised. A strong understanding of QoF and the importance of accurate data recording is essential.
