We are a
rural practice with a list size of around 3200 patients. We currently have 3 GP
Partners. We are looking to hire a further Salaried GP for 2-4 sessions a week.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of medical practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with nursing home staff to ensure continuity of care for residents.
- Utilise medical imaging techniques when required to aid in diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies is an asset.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
About us
We are a small friendly team that consists of 3 GP Partners, 2 Nurses, 7 administration staff and ARRS roles including Clinical Pharmacist, , Occupational Therapists, Safeguarding Co-Ordinator, Social Prescriber and Health and Well-being Coach.
