Join The Welby Practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly Cliff Villages team.
The ideal candidate will thrive working autonomously while benefiting from the support of a strong, family-focused practice.
We are ideally looking for someone looking for full-time hours, however we are open to considering part-time candidates too and compressed hours.
Our Practice operates across two sites: Navenby and Waddington.
These sites are based in picturesque, welcoming villages, each offering a warm community feel and a peaceful working environment. Clinics will be held at both locations, providing variety in your working day and the opportunity to become part of each village community.
The Role
You will see patients presenting with undifferentiated illness or injury, carrying out assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing as appropriate. You will be supported by an excellent clinical, administrative, and managerial team, including our doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, nursing team, administrative colleagues, and Practice Manager.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Practice: You will have the autonomy to manage and treat patients, using advanced clinical reasoning to assess, diagnose, prescribe, and evaluate care. Your expertise will support QOF reviews and ensure proactive patient management. Plus, you will take on the duty clinician role one day per week, giving you variety in your practice.
- Leadership & Management: This is more than just a clinical role, you will have the chance to shape services and help others. Get involved in service development, influence best practices,and help drive positive change for patients and the wider team.
- Education: We believe in continuous development. As a training practice for GPs, we foster a culture of learning. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and participate in our daily Cases Over Coffee meetings (11:00)a dedicated space to discuss complex cases in a relaxed, collaborative setting.
- Research & Development: Passionate about evidence-based practice? All Welby Group practices are active research sites, allowing you to engage in research studies and contribute to advancements in primary care.
