Are you a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of your community? We are excited to offer a permanent position for an experienced Practice Nurse starting in March 2024.
You will work at our New Coningsby practice for 1 day per week (Monday, 08:00-18:30).
Main duties of the job
Our practice serves a patient list supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Youll work alongside a prescribing nurse practitioner, minor illness nurses, an older adult's nurse, and our dedicated practice nurse team, with additional support from skilled managerial, dispensing, reception, and administrative staff.
As a Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients, utilizing your experience in General Practice Nursing, minor illness, and chronic disease management.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn addition to providing routine nursing care, your main duties will include:
Routine immunisation schedules
Cervical screening
Contraception reviews and family planning
Travel vaccinations
Chronic disease management
Dementia reviews
Cancer care reviews
Health promotion and disease management
Candidates must have experience in these areas to be considered.
