Practice Nurse

Job summary

We have a vacancy for a permanent Practice Nurse to work as part of a strong, supportive team to deliver high quality nursing services to our patient population. This is a varied and interesting role and we particularly welcome a candidate with experience of diabetes care and treatment, or have a willingness to learn.

Main duties of the job

To provide nursing services to our patients including chronic disease treatment, screening and advice.

You will work autonomously within the practice, support public health programmes, manage long term conditions, dressing and wound care, cervical cytology sampling, participating in vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children.
