Job summary

A fantastic opportunity to join an established GP surgery, looking to welcome a new Prescription Clerk to the team.

We are seeking someone to work 27.5 hours per week, across Monday-Friday, from 9am-2.30pm - but can have some flexibility for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be based at Watling Vale Medical Centre, but must have the flexibility to work from other sites within Milton Keynes as required.

Main duties of the job

The Prescription Clerk provides support to our GPs and AHPs receiving and preparing repeat prescriptions for our registered patients, and will be the main point of contact for all prescription related Patient enquiries.

You will be handling sensitive medical information, so a caring customer service communication style is essential.

Likewise you will be expected to treat all patients (& colleagues) with dignity and respect at all times and last, but by no means least, maintain the utmost levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
