Blossom Health Gosport is looking to recruit a salaried GP to cover 6 sessions per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly forward-thinking practice in Gosport. Located on the ground floor of Gosport War Memorial Hospital and with a rapidly expanding practice list size of 5935 patients our current practice team is made up of 2 Salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs, a practice nurse, respiratory nurse, diabetic nurse, an advanced HCA and a Phlebotomist all supported by our friendly reception and admin teams.

- You will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

- The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
- Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes.
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
- Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever this is clinically appropriate.
