Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic experienced HCA to join our highly motivated hardworking Nursing Team.
Whilst ideally we would like a full-time HCA, we are willing to consider part-time applications for the right people.
The post holder may be required to work over multiple sites.

Main duties of the job
Flu, B12 and other vaccinations (under PSD)
Ordering of medical supplies/Stock take.
Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training: Completing full NHSHC assessments once trained appropriately and under supervision of PN / GPs support the clinicians with completing LTC templates/NHSHC templates and completing care plans for those under clinician supervision.
Urinalysis and preparation of specimens.
Measuring and recording 1. Blood Pressure 2. Pulse Rate and Rhythm 3. Temperature 4. Height And Weight - Body Mass Index .5. ECG, 6. Ear irrigation (when trained, under the supervision of the Practice Nurse).
Undertake wound care, dressings.
Chaperone.
Venepuncture
Assist the GP with Minor Surgery.
Ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session.
Ensure clinical waste is removed from clinical areas and sharps bins replaced in accordance with the IPC policy.
Must be aware of their own professional boundaries and highlight any concerns.
Formal Healthcare Assistant qualifications are preferred. Experience working in the primary care setting would be beneficial.
