Our current vacancy is for a Medical Receptionist/Care Navigator totaling 30 hours over 4 days with extra hours to cover annual leave and sickness. We are looking for a motivated and committed person to join our friendly team at Kirkburton Health Centre.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure

Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations using the practice management system

Answer phone calls promptly, directing enquiries appropriately

Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently

Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required

Process payments and insurance documentation accurately

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and photocopying

Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies

Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
