Salaried GP Garforth and Rothwell (Leeds)

4-6 Sessions (2-3 days) per week across both sites. £9250-£10250 per session.

No on call sessions, 15 min appointments.

Main duties of the job

We are currently seeking an additional Salaried GP to join our stable and committed team. The practice currently has 3 partner GPs and 6 salaried GPs (all doing 4-6 sessions).

About us

Moorfield House is a 11,100 pt suburban / semi-rural practice covering Garforth and Rothwell. Our patients are generally from less deprived backgrounds, and we have a larger than average proportion of older people. We also look after 4 care homes one of which is a specialist dementia home.

We pride ourselves on our flattened hierarchy, emphasising friendly working relationships and taking care of each other. We highly value patient focused, caring GPs with a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach. To support our staff, we do not run an on-call system and all GPs work on 15 min appointments. Our focus is on continuity of care and delivering a quality GP service to our patients.

Our GPs form part of our broader team of professionals at the practice including our excellent reception and back-office teams, 4 PNs, 3 HCAs, in house pharmacy support and a very approachable management team. Moorfield House is well supported by the resources of the LS25/L26 PCN (including Pharmacists & FCPs etc).

We have two sites with roughly equal populations approximately 6 miles apart. Garforth is a recently renovated (but long) converted house. Rothwell is a purpose-built health centre. Both are nice places to work. All our staff work seamlessly across these two sites.
