The Goodinge Group Practice is a hub for the community, dedicated in delivering patient centred care. We are a forward thinking and busy training practice, with a diverse and committed team, and a proactive member of the Primary Care Network.
We are looking for an experienced receptionist, who is proactive, energetic, and and flexible to join our reception team.
Main duties of the job
As a receptionist, you are the face of the Goodinge Group Practice, supporting patients with appointments, queries, and requests, either in person, over the phone, by email, or via other online platforms. So being a confident and strong communicator if essential, and you also need to have empathy, patience, and be adaptable.
You will be working with a strong and dedicated team, so have a good support network around you, but it is important that you also have the ability to work either independently, as the workload is varied with reception and administrative tasks.
Prior experience working in a GP surgery is required, however, training will be given to the right candidate, and the ability to navigate around various GP IT programmes is essential.
