Job summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team, due to an increasing patient list. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing a welcoming and positive first impression with a professional demeanor. You will have a can-do attitude and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role requires a proficiency in office software, and an ability to provide excellent administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our 'front of house' services.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Maintain all records accurately and demonstrate adherence to Confidentiality policy at all times.
- Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing enquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Manage patient appointments, cancellations and rescheduling.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Support the practice dispensing team by giving pre-ordered medication to patients when they come to collect it, completing any relevant paperwork for this.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
