Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our Nursing team at a dynamic expanding GP Practice in the heart of Surrey.

Practice Nurse experience preferred but willing to offer training for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
The Practice Nurse is responsible for providing nursing services to the practice population, within the boundaries of the role. Successful Practice Nurse will support patients to be healthy, monitor patients with long-term conditions, and deliver health prevention, promotion and screening activities. This will include but is not limited to
- Management of chronic disease
- Cervical Cytology
- Childhood Immunisations
- Administer a range of adult vaccinations.
- Wound care
- ECG's
- Hypertension management
- Actively participate in achieving QOF and Enhanced Services targets and recall demands
- Participate in practice audit as directed by the Clinical Lead/Practice Manager
- Support and participate in shared learning within the practice
- To play an active part of the clinical team at the practice attending regular nursing, education and other meetings.
