Main duties of the job
As a Practice Nurse, youll play a pivotal role in delivering hands-on, patient-focused care. Key duties include managing chronic conditions (like diabetes, asthma, and hypertension) in alignment with Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) standards, conducting health assessments, and delivering immunisations, such as flu and childhood vaccines. Youll also support patients with cervical screening, and health education, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. Working closely with GPs and healthcare staff, youll contribute to preventive care and health promotion initiatives, making a direct impact on our patients well-being.
