Job summary
Lets talk about size!
At Latham House, we're proud of
ours: ~37,000
patients. One site. 140+ staff. And somehow still a place where
you'll know people's names, share a coffee each morning, and have time to
breathe between patients (and occasionally have a snack or two).
We are looking for a Salaried GP to
join our well-oiled, mildly chaotic (in the best way) machine. If you're after
a role where you can genuinely make a difference, be supported by a brilliant
team, and still finish work at a reasonable time this might just be your
perfect fit.
5-8 sessions per week
Salary? Lets just say its
generous and reflective of your greatness
15-minute appointments
(because some things just cant be rushed...)

Job description
Job responsibilities
Whats the Job?
You'll
do what GPs do best look after people. But at Latham House, you'll also be
part of something a little... bigger:
- Consult with our
ever-growing fanbase of 37,000 patients (don't worry, we don't
expect you to see them all in one day).
- Deliver high-quality,
evidence-based care that's as compassionate as it is clinically sharp.
- Join in with duty
rota, on-call, and all the exciting adrenaline-fuelled action that
comes with being the calm in someone else's chaos.
- Take part in home
visits, andmed reviews
- Contribute to clinical
audits, QI projects, MDT meetings, and the odd conversation about
biscuits in the staff room.
Professional Development:
We
value brains as much as banter:
- 9 sessions study leave and Protected Learning Time (you can be the student or the master)
- Support for
specialist interests whether that's women's health, minor
surgery, or becoming the local guru for something obscure but brilliant.
- A team that
includes GPs, Minor Illness and Injury Nurses, NAs, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharma
Techs and more because we believe in sharing the load.
The Serious Bits (that are boring but SO important):
- Maintain strict
confidentiality (obviously).
- Uphold equality,
diversity and inclusion (we love everyone).
- Follow Health
and Safety procedures no one looks good in an incident report.
- Stay GMC-compliant
and revalidation-ready.
- Work within the realms
of your competence, and always ask when something looks a bit dodgy
