Job summary
We have vacancies in our
Administration Team totalling 48 hours per week and are hoping to recruit two enthusiastic
and flexible candidates with good communication skills to join our friendly
team.
The vacancies are to replace a
member of staff who has left and one who is due to commence maternity leave shortly. We have flexibility to offer full or part
time hours.
The current range of pay for these roles is £12.40 - £12.65 per hour.
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE TWO JOB
ADVERTS LIVE AT PRESENT FOR THESE ROLES, ONE SPECIFYING A TEMPORARY ROLE OF 18
HOURS AND THE OTHER A PERMANENT ROLE OF 30 HOURS.
We actually have the flexibility
to offer full or part-time hours in either role. Please only apply for one of the roles - stating
your preferred number of working hours per week. Short listing and interviews will be conducted concurrently.
Candidates must have good IT
skills and be able to use Microsoft Word to a high standard and ideally have some
experience or inputting medical data or clinical coding. The roles will particularly suit individuals with a
background in health service administration or medical secretary training.

Main duties of the job
The role includes a variety of administrative tasks such as:
- Summarising and coding patient records
- Producing letters and reports to a high standard
- Referring patients to secondary care
- Collating and printing information for patients and other health care providers
- Preparing Subject Access Reports
- Compiling digital summaries of patient records
- Data input - including registering and deducting patients
