Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Royton and Crompton Family Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and forward-thinking primary care environment.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient welfare. You should have a sound understanding of working within Primary Care and be confident in delivering services within the boundaries of the Health Care Assistant role.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be a compassionate professional who holds an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Healthcare and must also hold a Care Certificate. Previous experience working in a GP Practice is essential.

We are a modern, forward-thinking training practice, caring for a growing list of over 21,700 patients. Based in contemporary premises, we are proud of our collaborative and supportive working culture. Our clinical team includes 4 GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists, and a highly experienced Administrative Team. We use the EMIS Web clinical system.

Working under the supervision of the nursing team and within practice guidelines, the HCA will contribute to patient care by carrying out duties that support health and well-being.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless, efficient, and compassionate service. They will play a key role in helping patients access the appropriate medical personnel and services, and in maintaining a proactive approach to patient health management.

- Vaccination Administration - trained to administer B12 injections, flu, pneumonia, and shingles vaccines.
