Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP with us, you'll be central to delivering high-quality primary care to our diverse patient population. Your main duties will include:
- Consulting with patients to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care, offering both face-to-face and remote consultations.
- Managing acute and chronic medical conditions, providing evidence-based care in line with current guidelines.
- Undertaking administrative duties relating to patient care, including referrals, prescriptions, and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Contributing to the practice's commitment to quality improvement and participation in clinical audits.
- Engaging in clinical team meetings and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Supporting the training of future GPs as part of our commitment as a training practice.

About Our Organisation
We are a well-regarded and friendly training practice located in a desirable, affluent area, serving a stable patient population of approximately 6,800. Our practice is built on a foundation of strong relationships and mutual respect, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where everyone's contribution is valued.
Our clinical team currently comprises four dedicated Partners and two experienced Salaried GPs, supported by an excellent nursing team, as well as an efficient administrative and reception team, and a practice manager. We also have an in-house pharmacist, a home visiting paramedic and an ACP paramedic working in the surgery alongside the team. We pride ourselves on a balanced workload, encouraging professional growth, and maintaining a positive work-life balance for all our team members.
