Health Care Assistant (in a GP Practice)

Job summary

We are looking for a HCA to work regular bank evening sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:30-20:00 from 1st April onwards. Ideally looking for at least 3 month commitment but if interested in working any shifts in April please make contact.

Regular evening sessions may lead to opportunities elsewhere within our Primary Care Network

To run an independent HCA clinic delivering high quality, practice based healthcare.

Clinical supervision and support provided if required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical

  1. To perform blood pressure measurements, urine tests (including pregnancy tests), phlebotomy and Electrocardiography; recording the obtained information accurately in the patient records, and reporting abnormal findings accordingly to the GP or Practice Nurse.
  2. Obtain specimens as required and store them in the appropriate place for collection, document all relevant information as required.
