Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing high quality consultations to our registered patients
  • Managing a wide range of primary care presentations, with a particular focus on student health
  • Participating in duty clinics, online consultations, and routine appointments
  • Working alongside GPs, nurses, mentalhealth practitioners, and administrative colleagues
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, clinical governance, and practice development

Job responsibilities

The General Practitioner (GP) will providehigh quality, patient centered, evidence based medical careto registered patients within a primary care setting.

We are looking for 6 x 4 hr sessions per week

The post holder will work as part of amultidisciplinary primary care team, delivering comprehensive general medical services while showing confidence, competence, and leadership skills in line withGMC standards, NHS values, and professional best practice.

The GP will:

  • Deliversafe, effective, and compassionate care
  • Work within the scope of General Practice and NHS regulations
  • Practice reflective, evidence based medicine

Clinical Responsibilities

Long Term Condition Management

Manage patients with chronic diseases such as:

Undertake structured medication reviews

Support personalised care planning

Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records

Complete referrals, reports, and correspondence efficiently

Adhere to practice protocols and pathways

Multidisciplinary Team Working

  • Work collaboratively with:
