Job summary

Abbey Medical Centre, an OUTSTANDING CQC-rated training practice in St Johns Wood, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and forward-thinking team for 46 sessions per week. We offer a supportive environment with daily clinician coffee meetings, weekly whole-practice huddles, an innovative triage system, and modern purpose-built premises. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical interests, grow professionally, and work within a collaborative, caring multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will undertake a range of clinical responsibilities including face-to-face consultations, telephone and e-consultations, triage calls, medicines management, home visits, and the associated administrative duties. They will be expected to carry out all routine duties and responsibilities of a GP working within primary care.

A key player in our Clinical team providing high quality and timely patient centred care

Undertake assessments of a range of health and clinical needs of our Patients using clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients

Follow the BMA/GMC professional code of conduct and NICE prescribing guidelines.

Support and deliver 100% CQC clinical and operational compliance within the parameters of your role

Support the completion of clinical workflow laboratory reports, prescriptions and clinical documentation as advised

Work flexibility to support the needs of the Practice
