To work as a HCA, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The HCA will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as, health promotion and health prevention.
You will be working in conjunction with skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, 2 HCAs, Paramedic, Prescribing Pharmacist& supported by our GP's.

Key responsibilities
- Check patient identification and confirm details with the patient.
- Take physiological measurements from patients as appropriate such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, peak flow, pulse rate and rhythm, temperature, height and weight (body mass index)
- Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient interventions
- Give accurate and appropriate information to patients within own competence
- Ensure that anomalies are reported to a senior member of the clinical team
- Notify a GP/Lead Nurse of any significant patient issues
- Ensure full and accurate recording in the patient’s computerised records
- Carry out administrative tasks for example, but not limited to, call and recall activities and stock takes as directed by senior members of the service
