Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive team at Woodcote Medical. The post holder will work primarily in the Administrative Team, but will provide cover and support to the Reception team when needed.
This is a permanent position. The working pattern required is detailed below, however flexibility is required for covering annual leave and sickness absences.
Monday to Friday: 12pm - 6.30pm
Main duties of the job
You should be experienced in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times and able to work well under pressure both independently, and as part of a team.
The main duties of the role will be read-coding relevant information into patients' healthcare records, assisting with patient registration and the processing of information in a timely manner.
You will work across our surgeries in Purley and Coulsdon and will provide cover for the Reception team when needed. This will involve greeting and directing patients, booking appointments and assisting patients as required.
Full training will be given but Medical Administration and Receptionist experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.

To report any significant events that occur in relation to document management and participate in any associated learning from incidents
Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner
Scan patient related documentation and attach scanned documents to patients healthcare records
Process changes to patient registration, deduction of records and new patient registrations
Providing help and advice to patients including the completion of online medical requests and booking of appointments
Covering colleagues shifts in the event of sickness or annual leave.
