Job summary

We are looking to employ a Salaried GP to join our friendly and well-established practice, where you will be part of a dynamic, patient-focused team. We offer a flexible and sustainable workload, competitive salary (BMA rates), and excellent support. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, we would love to hear from you. We are looking to cover 8 sessions per week (job share can be considered) with a view to partnership.

Main duties of the job

As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team. Your role will involve a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, as well as home visits where necessary.

About us

We are situated close to the A55 (junction 33) and the magnificent North Wales Coast. Our team comprises of: 1 GP , 2 Part time ANPs , 2 Part time Practice Nurses and a supportive administration team all of whom provide excellent care for its 5400 patients. Our clinical system is Emis Web.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The post-holder will be expected to deliver a high standard of clinical care to patients via telephone triage, face to face consultations and on-call cover. Other duties will depend on the skills of the applicant.

Managing a mixture of acute, chronic, and complex conditions within the scope of general practice.

Conducting patient consultations, assessments, and treatments, ensuring a patient-focused approach.

Supporting preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and minor illness care.

Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, and allied health professionals.

Contributing to clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and practice development.

The Principal GP supports its staff by encouraging teamwork and appropriate training to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to clinical governance standards.

Conduct home visits when required.
