Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced salaried GP to join our growing, friendly and supportive practice in Sheffield. We are looking for an experienced GP for 3 sessions/week (negotiable).
We are a small GP practice located in S11, close to the Peak District National Park, and are a team of GP partner, 2 salaried GPs, ANP, PN and HCA alongside a non-clinical support team and look after around 4200 patients.
We run a doctor first total triage system to ensure patient safety and medical needs are met.
Main duties of the job
- Main duties will include regular 15 minutes pre booked GP appointments and on the day appointments together with a share of duty triage sessions. Admin work will also be included and will involve prescription requests, filing pathology and processing documents
- We have very few visit requests as we are not part of a nursing home DES and have set slots for routine home visits
- Regular clinical meetings and teaching sessions
- Opportunity for additional sessions to cover holidays

- GP experience over 5 years essential
