Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills, a proactive approach and able to multitask to join our small, friendly and effective team to help maintain the smooth running of front desk activities. Previous reception/customer service experience would be an advantage.
Please note this role is for 13 hours per week
Main duties of the job
Ability to prioritise and organise workloads
Able to use initiative within a constantly changing and pressured environment
Be confident in using a keyboard and be tech savvy: we currently use SystmOne
Be confident in using the telephone with ability to occasionally manage difficult or confrontational conversations
Willing to take on additional roles in an ever changing and developing GP practice environment
General knowledge of office procedures and policies
Knowledge of medical terminology desired but not essential
Have a professional appearance and demeanour at all times
Be a good team player with initiative and a flexible approach to work
Attention to detail is a real plus within the team
Remaining calm under pressure, being non-judgmental and conscientious
Able to always remain confidential with excellent communication skills

Greystones Medical Centre is located in S11 close to Ecclesall Road amenities with good transport links from the city centre. We are a small practice with a well established work force. Patient demographics are primarily young professionals and families. Actively encourage personal development opportunities with the full support of the management team.
