Medical Receptionist in Patient Services

Job summary
Are you are an experienced medical receptionist looking for a new challenge? Have you previously worked for an NHS organisation? Are you someone completely new to general practice but have transferable skills and would like the chance to train in this very hectic but rewarding role? We really want to hear from you!
Due to our list size growing and the practice getting busier, we are looking to recruit an additional receptionist to work in our very friendly and efficient Patient Services Team here at Imeary Medical Group for 26.5 hours per week. Based in our purpose-built building at Stanhope Parade, your hours would be:
Monday 8.00am-6.30pm (one hour lunch break)
Tuesday 8.00am-12.30pm
Wednesday 8.00am-5.00pm (one hour lunch break)
Thursday DAY OFF
Friday 8.00-1.00pm
We open one Saturday per month for Enhanced Access and you would be on the rota to work one Saturday every 5 months. You must be available to work overtime as required where usually one months' notice is given.
You must be available to work the hours stated above which are not subject to change (please do not apply if you cannot commit to these working hours).
The successful candidate will be friendly, confident, resilient, flexible, have well developed teamwork, communication, organisational and customer service skills. Experience of working in a GP Practice and using Emis Web would be desirable but not essential.

We're lucky to have a helpful, friendly & sympathetic team who work hard to maintain good relationships with each other, our patients & the wider team & we continue to build upon our good reputation.
-The safety and well-being of our team is extremely important & we do not tolerate anyone abusing our staff
