Job responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications to patients, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Provide medication administration support, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosages and instructions.
• Hand out prescriptions, ensuring correct prescription charges are collected where required.
• Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication dispensing.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary area, to promote a safe working environment.
• Support with dispensary audits and regulatory compliance checks.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

• Previous experience as a Dispenser or within a dispensary/pharmacy setting.
