We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support our executive team, partners and managing director.

The successful candidate will be based at our Bewdley Medical Centre site. Full time, part time, and job share applicants are welcome. Fixed term and permanent positions are available.

The Wyre Forest Health Partnership (WFHP) is a large GP Partnership serving the Wyre Forest area. The Partnership has 5 practices in Kidderminster and the local area and serves 73,000 patients.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will directly support the Directors, Executive Team and GP Partners. Key duties will include;

  • Managing Director's and Partners diary priorities and commitments.
  • Co-ordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes and following up on action items
  • Office and procurement management including reviewing and approving invoices and expenses
  • Providing administration support to the Directors and Partners
  • Devise, implement and maintain electronic and paper filing systems
  • Source and gather information to support Directors and Partners to prioritise their workloads effectively.

WFHP has been operating since December 2014 as a single Partnership, operating out of 5 surgeries, 3 are purpose built. We operate at scale and are at the forefront of primary care delivery in how we organise ourselves, having management and leverage for a large number of primary care employees (300 employees, including 50 GP's). We also look after c 73,000 patients. We have a very strong quality improvement ethic, and are always looking to improve.

WFHP is working towards the NHS goals to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible. We actively encourage new staff to take an interest in this and build sustainable practice into their roles.

  • High levels of organisational and prioritisation skills are a necessity.
  • Attention to Detail
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Cross site working will be required. Candidates must have a full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Administrative role

Desirable

  • Experience of note taking and organising board level meetings and agendas.
  • Experience working with Senior Leaders, Partners or Business Directors
