Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for career progression and development in a respected GP Practice within a supportive and highly regarded Partnership.

We are looking for a motivated and capable deputy site manager to support the site manager in managing the day to day operation. We have vacancies at two of our GP Practices, Kidderminster Medical Centre and Hagley Surgery.

Both practices are part of the Wyre Forest Health Partnership, a group of five Primary Care Practices working together to deliver Primary Care in the Wyre Forest Area.

Main duties of the job

  • Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the site and to provide leadership and guidance to the administrative and support staff.
  • Lead the site when the Site Manager is absent.
  • To deliver day to day employee management activities as required or delegated by the site manager.
  • To deliver an outstanding patient experience
  • To support the site manager in delivering the profitability of the site, driving great results and performance to an outstanding standard.
  • Support the equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues, ensuring rights, privacy, dignity needs and beliefs of patients, carers and colleagues are respected at all times.

WFHP has been operating since December 2014 as a single Partnership, operating out of 5 surgeries, 3 are purpose built. We operate at scale and are at the forefront of primary care delivery in how we organise ourselves, having management and leverage for a large number of primary care employees (c250 people & c50 GPs). We also look after c 72 000 patients. We have a very strong quality improvement ethic, and are always looking to improve.

WFHP is working towards the NHS goals to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible. We actively encourage new staff to take an interest in this and build sustainable practice into their roles.
