We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, hand to eye co-ordination, flexibility and patient focus. Basic computer skills are also required.
We are looking for people to fill part-time posts - two or three or four days a week or the roles may be combined to make up a full-time position depending on suitability of applicants, who have a full UK driving licence. Own transport is essential.

Main duties of the job
Obtain blood samples from patients fit for laboratory testing ensuring minimum distress or discomfort is caused to the patient during this process and work with minimal assistance/under pressure.
Testing urine samples with dipstick for infection or glucose/protein and to follow agreed Practice protocols if results were abnormal.
Comply with infection prevention and control procedures at all times. This includes safe sharps disposal and cleaning or safe disposal of any item contaminated with bodily fluids.
Comply with your responsibility to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
Act as a chaperone in doctors consultations according to Practice policy.
Maintain the cold chain when drugs / vaccines are delivered to the surgery.
Ensure mandatory training is kept updated
