Are you a newly qualified GP (within the last two years, without a substantive post) looking for an exciting and supportive role to launch your career? Boston Primary Care Network is seeking a forward thinking GP to join our team on a fixed-term salaried contract until 31 March 2025. We offer up to 8 sessions per week, with the possibility of contract extension once further guidance from NHSE is available.
You'll have the unique opportunity to work across the 6 practices in our well established and supportive PCN.

Main duties of the job
You will play a vital role in delivering patient care, following the GMS contract and Enhanced Services objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting routine and urgent appointments, both face-to-face and via telephone, ensuring high-quality care.
Supporting Extended Hours services, enhancing patient access.
Prescribing according to local and national guidelines.
Managing administrative tasks, such as letters, results, referrals, and emails, in a timely manner.
Making appropriate referrals and managing related admin.
Checking and signing repeat prescriptions to maintain care quality.
Participating in on-call sessions as per pro-rata hours.
Collaborating with other health and social care providers to deliver integrated care.
Maintaining accurate consultation records using SystmOne.
Offering clinical support to colleagues, helping the team meet high standards in patient care and QOF/Enhanced Services targets.
This is a dynamic role that offers both patient care and team collaboration in a supportive environment.
