Job summary

We are looking for an experienced NHS Phlebotomist to support our busy Saturday clinics in a friendly GP surgery.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside our nursing team you will be carrying out blood tests, recording and processing samples during our busy Saturday clinics.

About us

We are an active teaching, training and research practice and care for approximately 7500 patients. We value innovation, team working and excellent patient care.

Our team consists of GPs, ANPs, Practice pharmacists and a Practice Nursing team working alongside a management, administrative and reception team. We also have a strong and diverse allied health professional team via the PCN.

  • Confident in venepuncture for a range of patients
  • Experience using SystmOne and ICE clinical systems
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Role:

  • Accurately record and process samples
  • Deliver a high standard of patient care

This is a great opportunity for flexible weekend work while supporting improved access to services in line with NHS England priorities.

Hours: Saturdays 9am - 1.30pm
