Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible part-time receptionist (25 hrs pw) to join our busy team at Neston Surgery.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be part of a
reception team dealing with patients requests via the telephone, email and face to
face. You will be required to book appointments with clinicians and sign post patients to the
most appropriate person to deal with their condition. The successful candidate will also deal with all relevant
administration tasks, including processing repeat prescriptions.
Applicants should have excellent customer service, organisational and computer skills. Experience of Emis Web and Docman 10 computer systems would be an advantage, although full training will be provided to the successful candidate. The ability to work well within our team and on your own initiative is essential.
About us
We are a friendly Surgery with 4 GP Partners , 4 Salaried GPs 2 ANPs, 3 Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants and Visiting Paramedics. We are also a training Practice and currently have 4 GP trainees. We have approximately 9000 patients who are supported by our admin team and reception team. We are also part of the Neston & Willaston PCN, providing outstanding services to the patients of Neston.
Our aim is to deliver the best possible healthcare to our patients and support one another in that process.
