Job summary

Riverside Health Partnership are looking to expanding our team in conjunction with Retford & Villages PCN. This position will be employed under an ARRS role working with the Riverside team. We are seeking a driven, emotionally intelligent, high quality ANP who values excellent patient care to join us.

We are prepared to wait for the right candidate.

We are a busy practice caring for 23,000 patients based over 4 sites.

We are a consistently high performing GP training practice with 6 partners and 5 salaried GP's working alongside an excellent team of ANPs, nurses, social prescribers and practice pharmacists.

Our work patterns reflect our intent to safeguard the well-being of our colleagues and meet the demands of our patients.

  • Total triage AI-driven online system based on clinical prioritisation
  • Work schedule / rotas to be family friendly and accommodate clinicians' workload priorities
  • Good support from PCN Social Prescribers, health & well-being team - cancer support, mental health and children's link workers
  • In-house practice pharmacists, pharmacy techs with medicines management team
  • Monthly in-house and locality wide protected learning
  • Active practice supervision, in-house Whatsapp support group and annual appraisals

We actively encourage highly skilled clinicians to add to our medical team to work alongside our team of doctors. In-house special interests in education/training, palliative care, women's health, diabetes, minor surgery and steroid injections

Main duties of the job

To act as an autonomous practitioner working independently, in conjunction with other health care professionals to provide complete episodes of care for patients of any age, management of a wide variety and range of presenting complaints and health care needs. To assess, diagnose and treat conditions of patients attending primary care, initiating direct referrals as appropriate. A large focus of clinical work will be acute illness in general practice, in surgery and sometimes on home visits.

Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.

To develop new and innovative concepts, models, methods and practices to deliver and improve primary care services in order to meet the needs of the practice

To provide education and training to staff and students as required.
