We are looking for an
enthusiastic, motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward thinking
GP surgery
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate
will work as part of our nursing team to provide high quality, evidence based
care, including (depending on experience)
Long term
condition management e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, CHD
Treatment room
duties e.g. wound care, dressings, ear care, ECGs, injections, cervical
screening
Childhood and
adult immunisations and vaccinations
Contraception
and womens health clinics within competence
NHS Health
Checks and health promotion and lifestyle advice
Supporting QOF,
IIF and local enhanced services
Working closely
with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, proactive care

Ideally with
experience in general practice or community nursing, although we will consider
candidates new to practice with the right attitude and transferable skills

working autonomously within your scope of practice, while recognising when to

good IT skills and accurate recordkeeping
Committed to
high standards of patient care, infection control and safeguarding
A team player
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in any of the
following would be an advantage but not essential, as training can be
supported for the right candidate
