Job summary
As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator you are the first contact that any patient or healthcare professional has with the surgery.
You will work within a team of receptionists and your daily activities will vary from answering the phone, direct patient contact and administrative duties. You will be trained to help patients access the most appropriate care be that within the practice or externally.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with and helping others. In this role you will be answering telephone, face to face or online queries, finding out what the needs of the patient are and how the GP practice can best help them.
This role can be busy and diverse and we are looking for candidates who would thrive in these situations.
We are looking for people with good IT skills including using email and Word.
We use a clinical system for appointments which you will be trained to use.

Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice is a GP surgery based over two sites with a patient population of over 11,000.
We have a large friendly team of Receptionist/Administrative staff who support a diverse clinical team of GPs, nurses, pharmacists and Nurse Practitioners.
