The Role
- 12-month fixed term salaried GP post
- 6 sessions per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
- Maximum 13 patients per session
- 15-minute face-to-face routine appointments
- Balanced mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations
- Regular clinical meetings
- Protected daily coffee break with the option of a lunchtime walk or run along the beach
- Strong administrative support via an effective workflow system, dedicated admin team and care coordinators
- Opportunities for:
- Clinical and non-clinical leadership
- Developing specialist interests
- Additional out-of-hours work via the PCN
Main duties of the job
The Practice
- Modern, progressive training and teaching practice serving just under 27,000 patients
- Strong focus on personal development, mentorship and staff wellbeing
- Tier 2 Visa sponsor
- Desirable coastal location operating across two well-equipped sites, close to the beach and local amenities
- Part of a thriving PCN with a broad multidisciplinary team including:
- Clinical pharmacists
- Advanced nurse practitioners
- Paramedics
- Mental health practitioners
- Musculoskeletal specialists
- Dedicated Enhanced Care Team providing home visits resulting in minimal home visiting for GPs
- High QOF achievement
- Rated Good by CQC
