Practice Nurse

Job summary

We have an exciting oppurtunity for a Practice Nurse/ Treatment Room Nurse to join our experienced Practice Nurse Team.

The successful candidate will hold NMC registration. We are seeking a qualified Nurse who is enthusiastic, approachable, compassionate, organised and confident to work unsupervised in a treatment room.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this position. This posting is not open to candidates from outside the UK as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.

Main duties of the job

The role comprises general nursing support including: adult & childhood immunisation, BP reviews, cervical cytology, ECG's, health promotion, phlebotomy and wound care. An interest in one or more areas of chronic disease management would be welcomed.

About us

The Misbourne practice operates across two sites (St Peter and St Giles) with approximately 12000 registered patients. The practice population is relatively stable with a high proportion of middle-aged and elderly population, as well as a good proportion of young families with children. We have been a training and teaching practice for many years with current focus only on GP training.
