Job summary

We are looking for a part time Practice Manager working 25 hours over 4-5 days a week. The position will be based at Dulais Valley Primary Care Centre in the heart of the Dulais Valley at Seven Sisters, approximately 15 minutes from the M4, Junction 43. Main duties of the job

  • Practice management within NHS Wales, with skills in managing practice finances.
  • Willingness to work as part of a diverse workforce within and outside the practice, being open to multi-disciplinary team-based working.
  • Develop the practice as a business.
  • HR and managing staff.

About us

The Practice operates from a purpose built Health Centre with generous on-site free parking for both staff and patients. The Practice is rural in nature and has a patient roll of 6,000 patients.

Our team consists of currently 5 GPs, 2 Nurses, 2 HCSW and an in-house Pharmacist.

We have a large admin team with a wealth of experience, coding, call handling, triage, secretarial work and payroll.

Our District Nurse Team and Health Visitor are based at the Practice and we host the following third party services: Physiotherapy, Social Prescribing, MIND, Retinopathy, Pre-diabetes, Heart Failure and Virtual Ward.

The Practice is a training Practice; we host GP trainees and Swansea medical students.
